COVID-19 FARM STAND PROCEDURES

We are implementing a few new practices to keep everyone safe and do our part to restrict the spread of COVID-19/Coronavirus. First, at our farm, food safety has always been a huge part of what we do and we are continuing with our sanitizing and hygiene practices to ensure the best fresh produce possible. Thank you for also working with us to follow the guidelines below for use of our honor system farm stand.

1. Please do not come to the farm if you have any cold or flu symptoms.

2. Only one shopper in the stand at a time. If someone is already here, please wait in your car until they leave.

3. When you enter the stand please sanitize your hands before touching anything. Hand sanitizer is available.

4. All produce in the fridge is now in individual grab and go plastic bags (no bulk containers for the moment) to reduce contact with produce.

5. NO CASH PAYMENTS at this time. There is info on using Venmo or Paypal in the stand. If you do not have either of those, please send us an email at redtruckfarm@gmail.com with your total and we will send you a link for online payment.

6. When you have finished your shopping please use the provided spray bottle (contains a bleach solution with CDC recommended dilution) to spray anything you have touched in the stand, and most importantly the fridge handle, and the bottle of hand sanitizer so both are sanitized for the next person’s use.

Thank you for supporting the farm during this bizarre time. We know that accessing nutrient dense, organic produce is important for keeping us all well and we want to keep our farm stand open for as long as we are able. Blessings and stay healthy!
